Treatment runs from medical-grade topical and oral options through to isotretinoin for severe or scarring acne, which we prescribe and monitor closely. Where acne has already left marks, scarring is assessed and treated as part of the same care rather than handed off elsewhere.

You see a fully qualified consultant dermatologist from the first appointment, not a GP or a nurse. Dr Pallavi Gupta and clinical lead Dr Paul Farrant both have particular expertise in acne, and our consultants are members of the Royal College of Physicians and the British Association of Dermatologists.
