Before your appointment

1

Contact your insurer for pre-authorisation

Before booking, call your insurer to confirm that your policy covers a private dermatology consultation and request an authorisation code.

2

Provide your authorisation code when booking

When you contact us to book your appointment, please have your insurer's authorisation code ready. We'll use this to process your claim directly.

3

Bring your insurance details to your appointment

Please bring your insurance membership card or have your policy number to hand on the day of your consultation.

4

We'll invoice your insurer directly

We will bill your insurer directly for any covered services. Any shortfalls or non-covered items will be charged to you at the time of your appointment.

Hair loss exception

Hair loss appointments are not covered by insurance providers. All hair loss patients are seen on a self-pay basis and charged on the day. You may be able to claim some costs back depending on your individual policy — we recommend contacting your insurer to check.

If you're not covered

If your insurer doesn't cover your consultation or procedure, self-pay options are available.
